My Slideshow
This is about the paintings in my slideshow I have seven so far.
1 Bindee's world
2 Pelican point
3 Mixed ideas
4 Journye North
5 Pelican magpie and Bindee
6 Outback Landscape
7 Srachback Seascape
Bindee's world, Pelican, Magpie and Bindee are scratchback art this is a Scratch Board with a black background and when scratched shows white it is a good way to do art as the white stands out and really allows a nice effect.
Pelican's Point, Mixed Ideas, Journey North, Outback Landscape are Paintings, All are acrylic on canvas except Outback Land scape is acrylic on paper. All paintings are different concepts and comes from memory of my passed life and experiances.
Mixed Ideas came about by playing around with a canvas I put about three coats of undercover white paint and when it was dried I Started to much around drawing a lot of small things and after a time I thought that it looked pretty good so finished it and was lucky to sell this painting.
Journey North was inspired by a train trip I took during my army days in 1967. This train is called The Sunlander it runs between Roma Street in Brisbane to Caines in north Queensland. The journey north took thirty nine hours and as I was assigned to Innisfail. I worked for The NSW Railways for over sixteen years and loved trains so I was very happy to be on a long train trip.
