First Project progress. Second project started.
In ceramics progress on my first major project is going good, all Axes,Boomerangs, Spears, and Bondi are made and the dome shaped base completed. I still have to assemble it, everything is looking good.
I have started on my second major work and have run out two clay slabs around the size of an A3. Time is a real proplem with this project three hours a week is all I get and will have to push ahead to finish. I am very excited about my two projects and will be posting photos on my blog in due time.

Aboriginal Australia Pre-Invasion
Friday 23 July 2010.
Think tank to consider Aboriginal Australia Pre-Invasion as a part of my presention for the Aboriginal and Torre strait Art Course certificate 1V. I have found out that not much information is available on this subject. Aboriginal people did not just exist but had laws and structers in place for thousands of years and health problems were very rare. Infectious diseases(such as diabetes, Chicken Pock and other problems came about after the in-vasion and thousands of Aboriginal people died from these diseases.
At the time of invasion over three million people were in Australia 6000000 were Aboriginal and in a very short time only 140000 were around the English invaders had a idea that they could breed the Aboriginal gene out.
