Ceramics completion of Ceramic Main Assignment

I am very near the end all the parts have been made and fired. On Tuesday 31 August 2010 I hope to put in the cement in the dome shaped base this will secure the structure. I will then have to construct the parts to give the best effects.

This has been a big undertaking but I could only build a part at a time and now I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and I am very happy to finish.

Wood work Axes and Hardwood carving.

I have made three axes from wood and I have Painted designs in black ink. I want to paint the axes with a varnish to give a raw effect. I am still waiting to see the finished product.


The other woodwork is like a totem, a hardwood slab with carvings. The hardware slab in fitted in the centre of a softer wood base and stands upright around three or four feet high. I need to paint the totem but I need to decide on the colours.

Ceramics Update

The first assignment in ceramics is very close to completion. The boomerangs and axes, spearhaed and bundie are all looking good and I am ready to go.

The second assignment is under way and I am moving right along and feeling happy with the over all progress.
